Dr. James J. Dalfino has spent over 25 years dedicated to one mission — helping patients with chronic pain find lasting relief without surgery.
After seeing countless patients who had already tried physical therapy, medications, and injections without results, he built his practice around finding better answers for the cases others couldn't solve.
Educated at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, Dr. Dalfino holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences.
He is the founder of Connecticut Disc and Laser Therapy Centers and specializes in advanced non-surgical therapies including Spinal Decompression, MLS Laser Therapy, EMField Pro High Energy Inductive Therapy, and Storz Medical Shockwave Therapy — treatments that are simply unavailable at most clinics in Connecticut.

In 2003, Dr. Dalfino opened Connecticut Disc and Laser Therapy Centers with a clear vision — to bring cutting-edge, non-surgical therapies to patients in Connecticut who deserved better options than what traditional medicine was offering.
In 2009, he relocated to a larger, more advanced facility in Shelton, CT, expanding his treatment capabilities significantly.
He began integrating the most advanced non-surgical technologies available — MLS Laser Therapy, EMField Pro High Energy Inductive Therapy, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, and Storz Medical Shockwave Therapy — creating a clinic unlike anything else in the region.
Today, with over 28,000 procedures performed and 4 Masters Certifications, Dr. Dalfino remains committed to one thing: giving every patient a real alternative to surgery and a genuine path back to the life they love.
